THE PROBLEM
Many young Nigerians believe influence belongs to someone else: the loud, the famous, the well-connected. They have talent and ideas, but they don't see themselves as creators.
THE IDEA
Build a movement around one line anyone can say out loud: Influence doesn't discriminate. Give people a name to claim and a number to prove they belong.
WHAT I DID
I launched Staryou, a platform that helps young Nigerians discover their Creator Type, understand their strengths, and find their direction in the creator economy. Everyone who uses Staryou to discover their Creator Type becomes a Staryouth. Each Staryouth also gets a unique number, for example SY_26_0001, which turns a quiz result into a membership identity and reinforces it psychologically. I moved the conversation from 'post more content' to 'shine your light and make your voice heard', so creating feels like a calling, not a chore.
WHAT CAME OF IT
- A name for the community: Staryouth.
- A unique Staryouth number for every member (SY_26_0001 is mine).
- A clear vision: to raise 10 million Staryouth by 2036 - young Nigerians who use their influence to create, earn and build.
